Henia has been a leading stylist in the Boston area for many years and her large client following reflects her dedication and expertise in the beauty industry. Henia has extensive training with a range of color lines including but not limited to Redken, Chi, Goldwell, Wella and Majirel and Sun glitz. She also specializes in hair straightening with Keratin Complex as well as the Yuko straightening systems.
Henia utilizes the wet method for cutting hair because it is her belief that it creates a stronger design line within the haircut; once the hair is dry, she applies texturizing techniques. Henia believes that there is a difference between a trim and design haircut and her prices reflect that belief.
Henia uses many different techniques while coloring hair and often applies several colors to achieve a unique effect. As a result of her creative use of color and expertise in the field Henia has been recognized by the "Best of Boston" in the area of color tinting.
Henia attends the New York IBS Hair show every year where she attends advanced seminars in all areas of hair care keeping her current on all the latest trends.
Henia also specializes in Custom Designing Wigs for women who are suffering from Alopecia (hair thinning/baldness) or from the affects of Cancer Treatments. Henia is a Breast Cancer survivor and wants to be able to help those touched by Cancer to always look and feel their best. She knows firsthand the affects of treatment and the stresses it puts on the mind and body.
Henia is well-known in Greater Boston for her distinctive wedding and formal hair styling. She caters to the needs of the bridal party and offers private salon usage on Sundays by special request.
